Ecological Lighting Solutions is an architectural lighting design practice based in Falmouth, Cornwall, that specialises in wildlife-friendly lighting schemes. The company helps architects, developers, and property owners plan lighting that meets ecological compliance requirements and demonstrates wildlife-friendly credentials to planning authorities. Natural referral partners include electrical contractors who install the lighting systems, sustainability consultants conducting broader environmental audits, and ecological surveyors who assess bat and wildlife impact. A referral to Ecological Lighting Solutions makes sense when a new build or renovation project is subject to ecological planning conditions, or when a developer needs to demonstrate environmental responsibility to secure planning permission or funding. This typically occurs during the design phase of projects in environmentally sensitive locations.
