The National Energy Foundation is a nonprofit based in Salt Lake City that provides energy education programmes for schools and communities across the United States. Over 50 years, the organisation has developed hands-on learning experiences covering energy efficiency, safety, and electric vehicles, designed to help students and families make informed energy choices. Their programmes work with classroom teachers and utility partners to build energy literacy from primary through secondary school level. Referral partners might consider recommending NEF to schools and educational organisations seeking to integrate energy-focused STEM activities into their curriculum, or looking to develop community engagement programmes around energy efficiency and safety.
