Oil Painters of America is a not-for-profit organisation representing over 3,500 oil painters across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Founded in 1991, it promotes excellence in representational art through regional and national exhibitions, educational programmes including workshops and scholarships, and a critique service for members. The organisation would be a natural referral for oil painters seeking community, skill development and opportunities to exhibit their work competitively.
